If we reached out to you, it's because we researched your operation and want you on the platform. Escaped Australia is curated, not a directory anyone can submit to. Being listed here means we believe your experience is genuinely worth finding.

How It Works

  • You provide your booking link, Viator listing, or contact details
  • We create your listing on Escaped Australia — photos, description and pricing supplied by you
  • We handle all SEO, marketing and platform maintenance
  • Customers find your experience through Escaped Australia and book directly through your system
  • You fulfil the experience and receive payment from the customer
  • We earn a small commission from completed bookings only — you pay nothing upfront

Commission Structure

Commission applies only to bookings that originate from Escaped Australia. We earn nothing unless a booking is completed.

Via FareHarbor Distribution Network

  • You receive your standard FareHarbor booking payment
  • Escaped Australia earns commission via the FareHarbor Distribution Network
  • This is paid by FareHarbor — your pricing and payout are not affected

Via Rezdy Reseller

  • You receive the majority of the booking value
  • Commission rate is negotiated per operator and will be discussed before going live
  • Rezdy deducts a small processing fee from our commission, not yours

Via Viator Affiliate

  • You receive your standard Viator payment after their commission
  • Escaped Australia earns a small affiliate commission paid by Viator
  • Your existing relationship with Viator is unchanged

Enquiry Only — No Booking Platform

  • If you don't yet have a booking platform, we can still list you
  • Customer enquiries are forwarded directly to you to manage
  • No commission applies to enquiry-only listings — this is goodwill while you get set up
  • We can help you get onto FareHarbor or Rezdy if that's a future goal

What You Provide

  • A booking link (FareHarbor, Rezdy, Viator) — or contact details if you're not yet on a platform
  • High-quality images of your experience (minimum 5)
  • Accurate description, pricing and availability information
  • All customer service and booking fulfilment — you handle the customer directly once they book

What We Provide

  • A professional, curated listing on Escaped Australia
  • SEO optimisation and organic search marketing
  • Platform maintenance and updates
  • Customer enquiries forwarded to you where no booking platform exists
  • Editorial support — we write well and we care about how your experience is presented

Listing Standards

  • All experiences must be genuinely bookable and available
  • Pricing and descriptions must be accurate — no misleading claims, ever
  • Professional images required — we can advise on what works best
  • Operators must hold appropriate insurance and licensing for their activity
  • Escaped Australia is a curated platform — we reserve the right to decline or remove listings that don't meet our standards

The Honest Bit — Read This

Escaped Australia launched in May 2026. It's a real platform with a real SEO strategy behind it — but organic search takes 6 to 12 months to build meaningful traffic. We won't pretend otherwise.

If you need bookings faster than that, we can talk about that separately. Through our sister consultancy Drumroll Please, we help tour operators build their own direct booking presence — Google Ads, SEO on your own site, Viator optimisation and more. That's a separate conversation and a separate engagement, but it's there if you want it.

Listing on Escaped Australia is a long-term play. The operators who benefit most are the ones who see it as part of a broader strategy, not a quick fix.

Terms

  • Listing is free — no upfront cost, no lock-in
  • Either party can remove a listing at any time with 7 days' notice
  • Commission applies only to bookings generated through Escaped Australia referrals
  • Operators remain fully responsible for all customer service, safety and legal compliance
  • No exclusivity — you can list on as many platforms as you choose
  • Escaped Australia reserves the right to update these terms as the platform grows — operators will always be notified of any changes before they take effect
